WHO WE ARE

DCNA-DBH is comprised of an attorney, along with several clinical and educational non-supervisory nurses, who elect executive cabinet members and shop stewards with the DCNA-DBH chapter to advocate on their behalf in a biannual election. These cabinet members and shop steward positions are not paid. However, the DCNA-DBH attorney is paid via monthly union membership dues.

DCNA-DBH ensures contract negotiations of nurses’ pay are competitive and commensurate with experience, years of service, responsibility, autonomy, and education.
